How many times, how many lies?

I started worked today as a receptionist at KrisFlyer Company. I felt that it's more than a 'receptionist' totally. I got to thank Bubu for recommending me this job. =D Yar anyway, my job was quite fun BUT tiring. Answering calls from customers, 0900-1800, hear them complimenting, whining, nagging, acting impatiently like as if they are the ONLY customer we need to attend too, getting overseas call and hear their accent. Like how they pronounced number *8* and *A*.

I got a slight problem understanding their accent, but after picking up few calls, I think I did a good job. *pats on my shoulder =) Ouh did I tell you there's this 5 hot chinese guys working with me? And they are waiting for school to reopen too. OMG. And they are nice, funny.

Ouh and I met a Republic Poly Grad, and I have 5 receptionist wearing braces with me! HOHOHO! Yar, maybe I should brief a little bit more about my work. My company works with SIA, and we provide redemptions, reservations and other services for customers that travel alot.

SO when I got to pick the first call in the morning, I was a bit nervous.

"Hello Good Morning, KrisFlyer Customer Service, receptionist speaking." *looking at script*

After about 10 calls and getting used to it, I shorten the greetings, "Good *fill in the blanks*, receptionist speaking." hahha.

And the callers will start, "Oh Receptionist, can you transfer me to the customer service?" And we will start telling them that they are busy and if they want to, we can call them back and bla bla.

Some callers were acting negatively, and, I know why they were behaving that way. They've been waiting for so long on the line and customer service people are busy totally, and when they were in need of something urgently, the callers will start demand this and that, and some even threatened to lodge a complaint or talk to the manager. -_-"

I'll tell you how I feel, I'm tired persuading, consoling them. On the other hand, those callers that act positively are really really nice. =D I talked to the whole people in the world. hahh. not nearly the whole world, but I do received calls from Russia, Auckland, Indonesia, Sydney, Melbourne, etc. A good experience for me.

Ouh and when I nearly finished work just now, like half an hr before 6, I took a last call. A female Singaporean. This is something that I won't understand. But well, nevermind. Typical. Just read this dialogue,

Myself : "Good evening, receptionist speaking."

That woman : "Aiyah, receptionist again! I dont want to talk to receptionist, can you put me on hold or transfer me to a customer service?"

Myself : "Sorry mam, our customer service are currently busy right now. If you don't mind, can you leave me your contact no. and KF membership no.?"

That woman : "No I dont want. I dont want. I already left my contact number to one of your colleagues in the morning just now. I told her about my problem, and she said everything will be settled by today. Now bla bla bla bla bla.... "

Myself : *drinks water* "Ouh I see, why don't you try to log in to your account again tonight, cause it's still early right now. *looked at the time, 1742* Our customer service people had been busy since early in the morning. Is that OK for you, mam?"

That woman : "Of course NO larh! *high pitch* My client wants to know bla bla bla,... I've been waiting on the line for nearly 20minutes. *God knows the truth, it's only 7mins!* "

Myself : " *defending myself* Mam, you got to understand that our customer service people are really busy, I could not find any available customer service. But if you insist.. *she cuts in* "

That woman : "I know i know! But you must understand my situation, bla bla bla ... *my ears gone red* "

Myself : "Alright mam, if you still insist on waiting, I'll put you on hold and I'll try to go and get a customer service, but I won't promise you, mam." *ran around the office and get a customer service*

However, NONE is available, really.

Myself : "Halo Mam, really sorry, none is available. How about you left me your contact number so that we could call you back as soon as possible?"

That woman : "No... I dont want. Go and get me your manager, I want to talk to him."

Myself : "Ok sure mam."

Ironically, I wasn't afraid at all when she asked for my manager. So I ran around again, and I found out that they went for a meeting. So I decided to let the caller put on hold for nearly 20minutes! And she still decided not to put down the phone! OMG! So I tried to look around for any available customer service or manager. NONE. I asked the guys to help me out, some of them go and pranked the woman, and there's this guy laughing went the woman starts nagging. I totally could not control my temper anymore.

After waiting, thank god there's this customer service attending to one of my colleagues, and I told her about this woman's problem. So finally, it's settled. And It's a wrap! WUHOO! Home sweet home totally. hahh. WAH. Veli long eh. hahh. Ok that's all. BYE!

Usah biar ku bersendirian, Usah biar hati mu ditawan, Usah biar diriku di sini seorang menunggu tanpa teman. Usah lepaskan genggaman tanganmu, Usah biar semua berlalu, Usah terlupa perasaan hati pertama kali bertemu. So school ends early for me today. Im in class right now. Shaf and nurul will leave school a little bit later. So I will go first. I will meet them again, next year term2. Miss you teteks. And sooooo my HOLIDAY begins!!!! YAHOOOOOOO!!! Im sexcited right now. hahha. I'm listening to TB's songs, Usah Lepaskan and Sesuatu Janji. NICE. great. hahha Now, I am finding job. Job Hunting. =) Anyone wants to meet me after school today? Or maybe afternoon? I am bored for sure. I need to finish up my RJ, quiz and evaluation first. hahha. Ah Ok, I am leaving right now. Bye bye RP. See you again next year, 2007!
07.08.06 How does it feels when someone keeps on putting pressure on you? It sucks, doesn't it? So yes. That is what I am feeling currently. It sucks big time. I just can't control it anymore. Out of my hand. Out of my way. Like @#$@%@%. Heck. Ignore this feeling. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Anyway, I saw psykeleticz in Malay paper today! Woah! Naufal was freaking cute like always. hahha. Wuhoo! hahha. Like seriously, I want tutek go and take his picture tomorrow. hahha. It doesn't matter if it's his picture alone or with tutek. hahha. I know psykeleticz last year during a competition at Zouk. Thanks to tutek la. She introduced me all this hip hop stuffs. hahha. And seriously, Naufal is very cute. Even kuntet agrees with me, right kuntet? hahha. I went out with Tutek after school. Accompanied her to marina square as she wants to do her retail therapy. And I saw this nice Puma Jumper larhs! Ya Ampun! Sungguh cantik.com larh. I think I will get that someday...
